How Can You Join?
If you are a parent or relative of a Band student, you are a Booster!
Please join us to share your concerns and to learn more about Band by attending our monthly Booster meetings held in
the PHS band room the first Monday of the month at 7PM. We welcome your participation!
Greetings and welcome!
I would
like to welcome all Patuxent High School Band Boosters to the
2012-2013 season. I am honored to serve as this year's Band Booster
President. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all the volunteers
who make this organization the success that it is and will continue to be. The Boosters provide the PHS Band program
with both financial and volunteer support. Our financial support relies
heavily on the numerous fundraising activities that occur throughout the school
year. The Boosters play a variety of roles…all necessary to make the
program an educational and fun experience for our children. Volunteers spend numerous hours as chaperones,
seamstresses, webmasters, videographers, bakers, fundraisers and many other
critical jobs. What we do allows our band director to concentrate their efforts
on our kids. And we can always use more
help. Anyone interested in lending a hand is encouraged to contact me
to get started. The satisfaction you get from volunteering and getting to
know these great band students and their parents is immense. Please do
not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns, and I look
forward to meeting and getting to know everyone this year.

committee reports and a Director's report from Mr. Ritenour as well as general discussion of all things Band!
