The Pit Crew members are the “roadies “of the Marching band.  We load and unload the truck for each football game and performance, maintain some of the larger equipment, help move the shakos (hats), uniforms when needed, and maintain the golf cart.

   We also need to move the equipment on and off the field during football games and performances, this means you get to travel to the performances, and watch the show from the sidelines. The best part is you get to have a nice quiet trip to these performances because you don’t have to ride the bus.

  Any help is appreciated, so whenever you see us loading or unloading the semi trailer feel free to lend a hand, be it 10 am or 2 am. Or if you would like to be part of the team that goes on the field or have any questions please see my husband or myself at any band event or send me an email.

If you wish to go on any overnight trips, there is only one, please fill out the volunteer application on the Calvert County schools website.
